How to mark a gun as sold and generate completed forms on Rightgun.uk
Rightgun.uk makes it simple for Registered Firearms Dealers (RFDs) and professional sellers to mark a firearm as sold, maintain accurate records in their RFD Register, and generate completed sales documentation instantly. This ensures efficient stock management, clear transaction history, and compliance with UK firearms record-keeping requirements.
Follow the steps below to mark a gun as sold and download the required documents.
Marking a gun as sold
Log in to your Rightgun.uk Dashboard using your registered credentials.
From the header menu, go to Armoury.
Locate the gun you have sold. You can use sidebar filters (desktop) or the Filter button (mobile) to quickly find the correct listing.
Open the advertisement and click the +Action menu.
Select Sell from the available options.
Completing the sale details
On the Sell page, enter all required transaction details, including:
Customer name
Sale date
Sale price
Commission (if applicable)
VAT or taxes
Any additional relevant firearm information
Add or select related details such as:
Services provided (if applicable)
Finance information
Form 11 and other compliance records
After reviewing the information, click Create to complete the sale.
Reviewing transactions and downloading documents
Once submitted, go to the Transactions section.
Review the full transaction record, including pricing, buyer details, and compliance information.
Download completed documents as required for:
Offline records
Customer documentation
Internal audits or compliance checks
All completed forms are generated automatically and stored securely within your Rightgun.uk account for future reference.
