AYA XXV

This best quality DBHE AD 12bore AYA XXV boxlock 25″ is in outstanding condition. Regarded as a robust yet elegant, fast handling side by side made by one of Spain’s finest makers. AYA are often regarded as a great alternative to best English sporting shotguns.  Supplied in 1969 to a local gun shop in Taunton, Somerset; its original owner has hardly used it and it remains in almost new condition. The engraving is a delight to look at and the full colour case hardening and blued action furniture shows no sign of wear. The action pins appear never to have been removed. With double triggers, auto safety return. Gold inlaid SAFE to top strap & AYA on the raised “Churchill” rib. The 14 3/4″ straight hand stock and splinter forend are original with only one or two small marks to the stock from light use.

The 25″ barrels are chambered for use with up to 2 3/4″ – 70mm cartridges and are choked 1/2 x Extra full. Making it ideal for walked up shooting, pigeon hides or driven game.
