AYA No 1

Presented in good condition, this true pair of AYA No 1 shotguns with consecutive serial numbers would make a great addition to a game shooters collection.

With 15″, nicely figured straight hand stocks, lengths in wood with chequered butt ends. Gold ovals. Double triggers with articulated front triggers. Auto top safety returns. Gold inlaid with 1 and 2 to top levers, barrels & forend tips. Gold “SAFE” to top strap. Engraved & gold washed lock parts. Detachable locks. The actions are finely engraved with scroll & bouquets with good signs  of the original colour case hardening remaining. The actions are tight and have recently been serviced by ourselves.

28″ barrels, chambered for 2 3/4″ – 70mm cartridges. Suitable for lead shot only unless the chokes are opened. The barrels would benefit from re-blacking but this has been reflected in the price.

Presented in their double leather motor case.
