DBHE 12bore George Gibbs Side by Side for sale. This well presented George Gibbs side by side 12bore ejector shotgun is a testament to the makers quality. Being made circa 1890, it remains in exceptional machanical condition. With a straight grip stock, lengthened in wood to 15 1/2 middle. Double triggers, auto top safety. The stock has a plain gold stock oval and an additional gold shield which is quite unusual. The actions patina is perfect for its 134 years of age. The action & lockplates are engraved with both floral & scroll. Weighing 6lb 13oz, this is a lovely English Game gun to shoot. With 30″ Dovetail barrels. Chambered 2 1/2″ – 65mm and would be suitable for standard steel shot cartridges due to the open chokes.
