Breechblock Marking: Clearly stamped "U.S. / MODEL / 1884".
Lockplate: Stamped with the Eagle/Shield motif and "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD".
Rear Sight: Equipped with the correct Buffington rear sight, adjustable for windage and elevation up to 1,400 yards.
Barrel: Standard 32 5/8" length with original bayonet lug/front sight stud.
