Ruger American Rifle Generation 2

The Ruger American Ranch is a compact, versatile bolt-action rifle engineered for hunters and shooters who demand accuracy without compromise. Chambered for reliable performance and built around Ruger's renowned manufacturing standards, this rifle combines modern tactical features with classic hunting aesthetics. The lightweight synthetic stock in Flat Dark Earth features ergonomic forend contouring and grip serrations for confident handling, whilst the soft rubber buttpad minimises felt recoil—ideal for extended shooting sessions. At the heart of this rifle lies the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger, offering a crisp, user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds to suit your preference and shooting style. The one-piece, three-lug bolt cycles smoothly with a quick 70° throw, providing excellent scope clearance without sacrificing strength. Factory-installed Picatinny rails accept virtually any modern optic, and the compact 16.12″ cold hammer-forged barrel is threaded (5/8″-24) and suppressor-ready, delivering exceptional accuracy through ultra-precise rifling. Precision is built in through Ruger's patented Power Bedding® system, which positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy shot after shot. The easily accessible tang safety provides instant security, whilst the 10-round AR-style magazine ensures you're never short of capacity. Weighing just 5.9 lb and measuring 36″ overall, the American Ranch is nimble enough for woodland stalking yet accurate enough for any hunting situation. Supplied with one magazine and sling swivel studs, this is a complete, field-ready rifle. **Key Specifications:** - Calibre: .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO - Barrel: 16.12″ cold hammer-forged, threaded 5/8″-24 - Stock: Flat Dark Earth synthetic with soft rubber buttpad - Trigger: Ruger Marksman Adjustable (3-5 lbs) - Magazine: 10-round AR-style - Weight: 5.9 lb | Overall Length: 36″ | Length of Pull: 13.75″ - Finish: Matte Black | Twist Rate: 1:7″ RH (5 grooves)
