Information

I became a Registered Firearms Dealer in 2005 (RFD 371 West Mercia) but have always had a keen interest in sporting guns, especially shotguns. My first shotgun was a 9mm bolt action 'Garden Gun' at the age of 9 and I have been shooting on at least a semi-regular basis, ever since; including air rifles in the North Hereford Air Gun League. From 1978 my interest in shotguns and rifles increased when I started shooting Sporting Clays and Game. I currently shoot Sporting Clays most Sunday mornings and am part of small local Game shoot during the season.

I currently shoot using a Browning Over and Under 12G. Prior to the Browning, the shotgun I would always use for competitive clays and game was a Russian Baikal OU 12G, a true 'budget gun,' but with a fantastic build quality, that will last a lifetime. It has fired many thousands of cartridges, having been used by both my sons as well, and is still in great condition.

Prior to becoming an RFD I was self-employed as an agricultural engineer, until a shoulder and neck injury forced me to give that up by about 2005, leading to the career change. Another interest is in dogs: our family had black and white English Springers for many years, but we now have a lovely Cocker bitch called Honey - Honey by name, honey by colour and honey by nature.

My business is run 'by appointment only' as we operate from home: this allows for more flexibility in terms of opening times, so please let me know and I'll do my best to fit in with you, including weekend and evening appointments.

I sell a wide range of good used shotguns, to suit most budgets, with some rifles and air rifles. We also stock a range of new SMK air rifles. I am happy to do part exchanges and gun transfers.
