Ian Hodge Fieldsports first started trading in 1991. Ian himself has been dealing in guns since he was 18. He has built the business up over the years to be the foremost sporting gun shop in the county and one of the most prominent in the South West.
Ian has direct contact with all the major distributors in the UK and has many friends in the industry and has thus built up over the years a great relationship with other gun shops and importers.
With over 600 guns in stock at any one time there is always plenty to choose from. Whether you are looking for a shotgun, rifle, air rifle or air pistol they are all held in stock and in quantity. All our guns are genuine British imports so thus carry a full UK Warranty. This will help with the second hand value of your gun if you decide to sell in the future. Beretta and Browning shotguns carry a 10-year warranty.
Other makes vary from one to seven years. We have the services of four gunsmiths who are able to carry out any work needed. Turn around is generally fast. The shop stocks all the accessories associated with shooting and the outdoors as well as a huge amount of clothing.
We turn over 100's of guns a month so stock is always changing. We have an airgun / bottle charging facility on site. Ian and the staff can help you through every step of the way with purchasing a new gun whether it be a shotgun, rifle or airgun. Advice and help can be given with gun fit and suitability.
The shop is set in the rolling countryside of North Cornwall, near a small village called Burlawn, approximately 1.5 miles from Wadebridge. Just 7 miles from the A30! With the shop situated on the family farm, there is ample parking, beautiful Cornish views and the opportunity to try out particular products, including a clay trap to have a go with any second hand/ ex demo shotgun.
